Are you aware of this new technology that can replace nasty arterial lines being used during surgery?

On 3/31 I had The Watchman device implanted. Along with the old school painful and invasive use of an arterial line, I was able to use the VitalStream external technology which was just approved by the FDA this past December. My hospital (HonorHealth) has not yet committed to buying the new technology so during my surgery they used both technologies side by side so they could help determine if they would make the purchase and commitment for down the road. I have only ever had one and it was put in my wrist when I was under for
surgery. I was totally unaware of the procedure.
