My husband and his aide were having a discussion this morning and acupuncture was brought up. She stated that she's had it before and it has helped with pain. My husband said its something to ask about for my PH.
I came across the news ,that research is still going on in a Chinese University, to find treatment for PH through Acupuncture.
Sorry, Juli. I’ve only tried it for migraines, no help there. Let us know if you do try it!
Awesome Brenda. SI joint pain is no fun, mine has been triggered a couple times at least. Im glad its helping you.
Hi Julie, I have only had dry needling for the first time the past two weeks, but it is being used for a strained gluteus medius muscle sheath, which is located above the SI joint fusion I had last year. It takes the edge off the pain so. It uses acupuncture needles but is done by a physcial therapist who is certified in it. It is not the same technique. It treats myofascial trigger points which is the first step to breaking the pain cycle and releases tight trigger points within muscles. I have not had accupuncture. This has helped me. Just an FYI!❤️🙏
Thanks AI, thats what I was thinking too.
