Shell, I plan on staying in a lot more. If I go out to trim weeds, I do it at 7 or 8 am. I don't do much with my flowers except at the same time or 8:30 at night, I go out to water them. I plan on missing some church and maybe having groceries delivered when it is 90 to 100. Spanish church is having their Fathers'Day picnic this Sun, and I told them that I wouldn't be coming becz of the heat and humidity.
We had bad air quality here the other day. I could feel it in my chest, and thot maybe I was late for my inhaler.
I was able to decrease my inhaler from 4 puffs a day to 2 puffs a day! Pretty pleased about that. He had wanted me to a couple years ago, and I couldn't.
Staying in air conditioning during high humidity, makes it hard to do things outside.
I appreciate this answer. I found myself doing breathing exercises today. I stay in the A/C. The only drawback I find is that I'm not as motivated to exercise inside. My cardiologist insists that I walk but when the weather is challenging I pretty much stay inside. Good luck.🙏🏽
I moved to the Sonoran Desert in Arizona 21 years ago to get away from humidity that was affecting another lung disorder that i have. So, I get desert bragging rights for not having to deal with humidity! We're in Monsoon season now...but even during Monsoon, the humidity rarely tops 50% and the rains don't last too long
Yes air conditioning is a huge help
