This question is to get us thinking & sharing from a different perspective. I hope folks will feel like participating & sharing. I imagine a lot of answers will still revolve around our conditions, however, I am curious to see how many of our answers will be the same & how many answers will differ from each other. Members shared what makes a good day for them, with the most consistent themes being having enough energy to complete simple tasks like showering, cooking, or cleaning, experiencing minimal pain and shortness of breath, and being able to spend time with loved ones, pets, or in nature. Several members described the joy of small accomplishments like walking without oxygen limitations, preparing meals for family, sitting outside listening to birds, or playing with pets, while acknowledging how chronic conditions like PAH, diabetes, Parkinson's, and mobility issues often dictate what is possible on any given day. A recurring theme was gratitude for each blessed day and finding peace in simple moments of silence, connection, and being present with what they can still do rather than dwelling on lost abilities.

A good day for me means I have the energy to get up .... Spend some time outside, play with my dogs and cats.

Kris this is a nice topic. Now not trying to gross out anyone but with my PH, Diabetes, and Parkinson's, I have urinary incontinence. A good day is how seldom I pee in my attends. I have made it complete days occasionally and that is in the recent months. I've had it for about 5 years. It takes a lot of sexiest feelings out of myself. A News Eve baby perhaps. But I cannot burst into a room because of my SOB. And I did write this to show it happens to me and I'd bet it happens to others. It is just an unpleasant illness.
