I am just diagnosed with PAH (mild at this point) and have decided to take the natural treatment route.

I'm not on meds, I take amla powder, beetroot powder, daily Brazil nuts, walnuts, oats, flaxseed oil, org. dried apricots, fresh banana and another fresh fruit, kefir, raw honey and nut milk all together as a meusli. I supplement with Coq 10, iron + multivits.
My last annual X ray showed no progression of my pulmonary fibrosis from previous, so I reckon it's doing some good ๐Ÿ™‚

So far yes. Again, though, my condition, just diagnosed is mild. Basically, I'm on over 40 different natural supplements for around 6 weeks. My symptoms have diminished and I'm more functional. Actually, I'm an author and will write a book on my experience. I do not, however, in any way want to encourage others to try this route without working in conjunction with their doctors.

PS I partially grind the nuts in a mortar and pestle so it doesn't take until lunchtime to chomp my way through it. I also think it aids nutrient absorption.

Beetroot absolutely. Along with a slew of other supplements like L-arginine, L-citrulline, Genistein, Naringenin, resveratrol, ginkgo, rhodiola, Ligustrazine. What are you taking? And are you taking supplements along with meds?
