My spouse is sleeping more n more. Its very hard to plan a dinner or anything around this. Should I work around this sleeping pattern of stick to schedule? Also my spouse is in an advancd condition of PH is this why there is more sleeping needed?

As PH advances and your spouse struggles more, fatigue worsens, and more sleep is common. It takes a lot of unconscious energy to breath. This is especially true when breathing is labored to the point that you're using all the accessory muscles (chest, abdomen, diaphragm) breath. Your spouse's appetite is probably pretty poor too. At this point, you probably need to plan your schedule around what your spouse is able to participate in. His/her body is calling the shots now.
