I’ve been diagnosed since April 2022 and haven’t responded to Revatio, then Tadalafil, an attempt to take Letairis but worsened anemia, and now trying Uptravi. I haven’t started yet and so am interested in others’ experiences. Thanks
Yes I have been on uptravi since 2022. And yes I did have to deal with alot of nasty side effects when I started it. Very bad leg pain, jaw pain, all over muscle weakness, severe diarrhea and nausea. Every time I had to increase doze it was horrible. Then with my Drs permission I asked him if I could stay on a dose longer so my body could adjust to it. And he said that would be fine. And it really helped with the side effects. So if you would have trouble with side effects I would see what your Drs says. But I have improved alot with the meds. I am also on sildenafil, opsumit. Winrevair is a miracle drug also. I was on that but they took me of because of a stomach bleed. Well good luck and Gid bless! 🙏🏻
What a journey you've been on since your 2022 diagnosis — trying multiple treatments takes real persistence, and it makes complete sense to want to know what to expect before starting Uptravi (selexipag).
