Ask your cardiologist I had to be admittrd 5 days to start on this Bloodwork has be done every 4 hrs to watch level as body absords it . I havent had another a fib in over 7 mths now ! It is not uncommon in A Fib. Trying to find the foci of the arrhythmia to block its pathway can be a challenge

I have had 2 ablations
First one lasted 6 yrs ! It was a cryo ablation. Second one lasted 3 months . Many cardioversions too. Last procedure was Vein of Marshall Ablation in Rochester. I did have AF reoccurrence after & was put on Amiodarone again for 6 months. Another cardioversion but so far ok for past year . There is a specialist in Texas that does a MAZE PROCEDURE. My dyspnea & dizziness has been in check since medication changes & addition of Farxiga & iron for anemia. Wishing you well. AFib unfortunately is a life long struggle for some

Sometimes 1 ablation is not enough. I have had more than one and finally was given Tikosyn under supervision in the hospital which didn't work. I had a double ablation in 2 areas of my heart and all has been good for me since then. Was last year in December. Sometimes I think our insurance doesn't was to cover procedures that can make a difference. I do have an outstanding Electrophysical Cardiologist doctor who does my procedures. I am blessed.
