I saw my PH specialist today and asked him for his impression on the PADN approach...He felt, as I did, that it appeared at first glance to be a high risk solution maybe for maybe people who were in a serious bad way with their PH. He thought it would be years before it would get through the approval process with the FDA. And then surgeons would have be extensively trained to do such high risk ablation work within the artery. but he did say that the theory behind it is sound enough.

Based on the little bit that I have read, I think I would be nervous about a process that involves ablating the pulmonary artery. But I can understand the theory behind it.

Then again, I’m still pretty freshly out from my cardiac ablation. So I may be biased as I remember that ordeal a bit keenly still.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention
