Lovely observation: what works for ME. Good call. What works in your case may not work for others. Focus on what does the job. It is so individualistic! I walk and monitor, and increased intake of water has been my newest 'best for me' routine, but I know that is not going to work for everyone. It also will not work forever.
Sure did not work for my mom, who endured hospitalizations, or my brother who ended on dialysis!
I take Lasix 3 times a week, sometimes two days a week. I take 40 mgs. However, I forget because there is no sign of fluid build up, especially my right ankle. If I start feeling pressure is my chest, that alerts me I need to take my Lasix. We all need to listen and observe our bodies. That’s the way I’m surviving with my diagnosis. ❤️u guys.
Good morning friends. As for me I take all my meds mid day or closer to the
PM portion of the day due to the adverse effects on my system. I am
probably ot the one to set your standards by, but it does me well as I
have learned and adjusted from trial and error. I hope this doesn't chase
anyone off from asking me anymore questions in the future. Lol God bless to
all. And stay strong..

I watch my.diet, watch my intake of liquids an weigh myself daily if I gain more than 2 to 3 lbs in day or 2 I take the it . I just hate being confined to the pottie for several hrs !
I agree! I was taking Lasix only when I realized a 2 to 3 pound increase in weight.. I weigh myself every morning and every night. I can go back four years and I have a record of my weight on any given day! Freaked my doctors out! I am now going back to doing it that way with dosage. The ever day spironolactone is giving me side effects issues! Bad issues! On Lasix I might not take any for 4 to 6 weeks, but also may have to take daily for 3 or 4 days! They took 26 lbs. of fluid off me at one pop. I only weigh 140lbs. I came home from the hospital on 80mils of Lasix twice daily. Totally ridiculous!
