Can PAH patients use NSAIDS? I had surgery a little over a month ago and the swelling is still present.

In regards to NSAIDS, I actually call my PAH Companion Support and/or speak to my PAH specialty pharmacists. Who would know better than them. I'm finding that I have to constantly remind doctors/test sites other than the Pulmonologist that I have PAH. Depending on your situation i.e. inflammation, they would suggest that you use something for a few days.

I wear a medical bracelet but no one looks at it. I have been in ER's and staff is constantly trying to give me something I should have.

Taking care of you/ourselves has become a full time job, but I've decided that 2026 is about me, my health and my happiness.

Depression rears it's ugly head, but I listen to gospel music, call on the Lord, deflect on someone else who's going through worse things, whatever gets me through a day.

Some days I can push myself, some days I can't but I'm not going out without a fight.

@A myPHteam Member, I would call your surgeon that did your surgery along with your PH specialist to get their suggestions. That way they can look at the meds you are already on and get you better answers!! ❤️🙏

- Elevating your legs when sitting
