I have to laugh a little. Today I scoured our toilets, did 1 load of laundry, put together a meatloaf and dusted 2 pieces of furniture. I am exhausted. I will dust a bit more on Wednesday.

I have PH Group 2.

Is it normal to feel exhausted doing just a few chores with PAH and scarring?

Yes, this is very common with pulmonary arterial hypertension. Extreme fatigue is a frequent symptom that affects both physical and mental well-being, and many people with PAH experience exactly what you're describing.

Daily activities like housework can be surprisingly difficult. A myPHteam member shared, "I needed to housework today and tried my best - but I didn't realize how hard it can be."

Managing PAH often means learning to pace yourself and prioritize tasks. Here are some strategies that can help:

- Slow down and take your time with activities
- Break tasks into smaller chunks with rest periods
- Prioritize what truly needs to be done
- Accept help from others when offered
- Be flexible with your plans, as energy levels can change day to day

It's important to discuss your fatigue levels with your doctor, especially if they're worsening. They can assess whether your current treatment plan needs adjustment or if there are other ways to help manage your symptoms.

Remember, having to adjust how you approach daily tasks doesn't mean you're failing - it's part of managing a serious condition.
