I dunno. My understanding is that beets mainly help the systolic pressure and less so the diastolic pressure. I had discussed beets with my PH specialist who said he would have no issues with my frequently eating beets as a natural way to get benefit from it, but he recommended against taking the supplement. He is generally not in favor of supplements anyway.
I believe this is the Phase 2 clinical trial that I actually turned down participating in due to both timing on my part plus how taxing the weekly follow ups were going to be, including requiring 2 RHCs. If this is the same one I am thinking of, the medication is targeting group 2 PH. At the time I was invited in to the study, the medication had not been given a name yet. All I knew was that it was a hormone based med, mimicking pregnancy, and developed by a technology company near Boston called Tectonic. Here's a copy and paste: Serelaxin (RLX030) is a man-made version of the pregnancy hormone relaxin-2, developed primarily to treat Acute Heart Failure (AHF) by widening blood vessels (vasodilation), improving kidney function, and protecting organs, showing promise in symptom relief and reducing mortality in trials, though its market approval status varies globally. It works by increasing nitric oxide, counteracting constrictors like angiotensin II, and promoting blood flow to kidneys and heart, but despite initial positive results, its widespread market approval (like in the U.S.) faced hurdles
And I'm attaching the pdf that I had been given at the time I was considering it.
Here's the 2nd page
Thanks
The hormone increases nitric oxide....would Super Beets do the same thing ??
