The uptravi it's an extremely tough medicine to start you start in microdoses eventually getting up to 1600 microdoses twice a day..
It took me 3 months going up 200 mcg's every couple weeks.
Once this stuff works it works really well but getting up to that 1600 MCG was living hell for me.
Please take as directed consult your doctor immediately if you feel so sick that you possibly think you need to go to the hospital.
Thank you

Im sorry for the delay. I hope you're doing well? I see Dr. Dieck and Ashley at Texas Heart and Vascular -St. David's Advanced Cardiac Care Center. (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). I have BCBS for insurance. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. I have been on Opsynvi for 1 month, 10/20. First week was brutal, then evened out. I will start 10/40 on Monday 🤞 i truly had no symptoms (other than noticing my oxygen was always low at doc appts) until I got diagnosed. I don't know if after that it was all in my head or what. Was diagnosed on March 28, 2025. Right heart cath showed my pressure in lungs was at 56. I have a wonderful doctor and team, thankful they are doing all the leg work for me and that they are very patient with all my questions via phone or portal. South Austin isn't far from San Antonio, maybe you can see the docs I do. Will do an Echo in 3 months to see if there's been any improvement. I am now seeing a psychiatrist and am on 2 antidepressants and xanax. Since diagnosis, anxiety has been horrendous. My sister had this same illness. Im trying my best to make the most of each day but can't help but think and wonder. I pray you are able to get the help that you need. I am currently not on oxygen. ((Hugs))

I am currently taking Opsynvi 20mg a day. It’s made such a huge difference in helping with my breathing problems. Been on med a month. The only side effect I’m having is edema of feet. I’m dealing with this with a water pill, Lasix, prescription. Helps a bit. Also use a foot massage machine to reduce swelling. Trying to incorporate more exercise to help alleviate this problem as well. Was not able to take the higher dose of Opsinvi 40 mg due to the excessive edema. So far, doing Excellant on the 20 mg daily medication and feel almost normal again. It’s wonderful. My oxygen levels are still a tad low, but supplement with oxygen as needed. Pray you too have a good experience with this medication.
