I had a nodule removed from my right lung back in 2019, it had grown a little since the first time it had shown up, but because I was on mycophenolate for ILD and pulmonary fibrosis, they had to make sure it was not cancer. It was removed and thank God it was not cancer, that also meant that they could continue my ILD and pulmonary fibrosis treatment. They also removed 3 lymph nodes to make sure. Mine was an adenocarcinoma, part solid 7mm nodule in the superior segment of the right lower lobe diagnosed by a CT. So not all nodules are cancer but it is always good to get them checked out to keep an eye on them.

Same here, Kris and SP. As long as it does not increase in size there is nothing to worry about.

I also have a lung nodule that Dr's have monitored for probably 20 yrs. and finally last yr. The radiologist sent a letter and said that there is no need to monitor this lung nodule. They said there have been no changes whatsoever in the 20 yrs. Lung nodules can just show up with no explanation is something I was told. They don't always indicate cancer.
