Depending on the medications you're taking some can cause bleeding issues. Also, if you use oxygen, it can cause nasal dryness that can led to nose bleeds. I have nasal dryness issues. I find it beneficial to use a saline spray or nasal irrigation such as a Neti pot to help rinse and moisturize the nasal passages. Xlear Nasal Spray or a saline solution that contains xylitol is what I prefer. I also use a saline nasal gel called Ayr.

Hi Tani, I am on a blood thinners and take sildenafil. Sildenafil can cause you to have bloody noses. I have had a few but nothing to get alarmed about. If you are getting them a lot, can't get them to stop and are on either of these meds I'd contact you Doctor to discuss. I am also on oxygen 24/7 so this causes my nose to dry.

Hi Tani, I can't find any reference to nose bleeds as a symptom except when your 'body' blood pressure goes extremely high. I presume that doesn't apply in your case.
Are you on blood thinners/anticoagulants?
