I have the ice packs, strange creamy topical concoction to smear on, I even have pain medication, but yet I think I'm on the verge of flipping out from the pain!! I'm tying to keep my shirt off of it, trying to keep the tubing immobilized, yet it feels like nerve pain now. Anybody got any secrets how to deal?

Cindy, thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a small miracle last night. The swelling went down in my leg and the muscles stopped hurting. πŸ˜…

Hi Heather, you might consider using copaiba oil to relieve pain and inflammation. Given that only tiny amounts are used it's not too expensive if you shop around.
I do hope your pain eases off soon!

Yes, I'm switching. The sepsis part scares me too, but this site pain is too much for me. I don't want to lose any more time hurting!! I guess we'll both need to be careful with the iv site and never get an infection!! The nurses that train you in this stuff are very helpful, I I've talked to some great pharmacists at the specialty pharmacy, so you're not alone.

Wow that is wonderful Heatherruth, so happy to hear that.🀲 so Heather do you think you are going to switch to IV or are you going to stay how you are. πŸ€” I was talking to my Dr yesterday about which way to go and she recommends the IV type. So I am pretty sure if I need to go on pump thats what I will do. And just pray I don't get sepsis. She said I will feel so much better going on pump. But will see what happens in November when I have echo.πŸ’—
