Katherine,
Thanks, your words just reminded me about the concentrators filters. Guess what I am going to do now. My machine also runs hot. Even with clean filters I've noticed they run a little hot.
Have a great weekend everyone and take time to catch our breath.

Make sure you clean the filter often. I've found that makes a big difference. If the filter is dirty or clogged up, the machine is going to overheat more and not function as well as it could.

Oxygen concentrators do generate some heat due to the compressor inside the machine. This is a normal part of their operation. However, the amount of heat can vary depending on the size and model of the concentrator. Larger, home-based concentrators may produce more heat compared to smaller, portable ones.

If you have concerns about the heat output of your oxygen concentrator, it might be helpful to:

- Ensure the device is placed in a well-ventilated area.
- Regularly clean and maintain the filters as recommended.
- Consult with your healthcare provider or the manufacturer for specific advice on managing heat output.
