I would defo take "no progression" right now. I have been going to one of the top heart and vascular centers on the east coast, NEW ENGLAND HEART & VASCULAR INSTITUTE, VEIN & VASCULAR SPECIALISTS for over 20 years. When they hit PAH they said I needed to go someplace else as they couldn't handle it. Maybe not but as your patient how about a referral and stay on as a cardiologist for me?
I had a Ross procedure done there.

Jay4, I think that has been my experience as well. I LOVE spicy Indian food but don’t eat it nearly enough. However, I have been taking capsules as well. My numbers are not as high as yours, but I consider no progression in 8 years something of a win. Keep it up, it sounds like it’s working for you.

I really like Indian and Thai food. The Thai curries have a lot of turmeric in the recipes. As an athlete ( football, hockey, alpine downhill racing, water skiing ) I played with turmeric years before it was pushed. I was taking capsules but I like spicy food and started ordering quite a bit of it. I can't draw a distinct correlation but I can say within an hour of Chicken Tikka etc. my oximeter readings go up to between 98-100. I noticed a few days ago I had to make a quick fix on my pool filter. Without thinking I took my O2 off so I had room. When I was done my wife told me to put my O2 back on. Forgot about it. My O2 sat was still at 96. Turmeric also aids in the production of NO which supposedly is good for PAH. Beets are good too. I haven't even had a RHC yet. Not looking forward to it.

I also have bad RA. My RA docs don’t want to start on biologics because of my PAH and not-so-good lungs. But I have been loading up on turmeric for RA for several years. It’s not a cure by any means, but helps with the inflammation in my knuckles, and wrists. Does it help PAH? But, there has been no progression for several years. Coincidence? Don’t know, but it seems to be a win anyway. Plus, I LOVE Indian food; the spicier the better, too. Hey, maybe the capsaicin helps, too?
