I've noticed lately that I don't deal well with stress now, like I use to. Today, I got stressed out and noticed that my head had started hurting. Which had never happened before. Also, I've noticed that I might get exhausted at times. Along with having an attitude change that's not so nice. Sometimes I can tell when I'm stressed when I start to have a pain in the top part of my left lung. It goes away after I use my inhaler. And going through the change of life doesn't help either. Wish I had an answer for you but I'm one of the lucky ones cause I don't get stressed. When my doctors tell me negative stuff I laugh it off. I guess that's just the way I handle it. I don't dwell in the past and I don't really pay much attention to the future cause I may not be there. I just take each moment as it gets here then I deal with it.
Stress makes my head hurt, too. I have no help to offer but I'm sending you all the best wishes and sympathy in the world. Sometimes misery loves company, so I'll say that I understand about living with constant stress.
My bf broke up with me (not related to PH) and although it's been a while now I'm still under constant stress. I would have married him; it was that serious, so I was devastated. I'm not crying myself to sleep anymore but I can't get him out of my head and the stress is 24/7.
I also have constant stress over getting another eviction notice because I'm not physically capable of paying the rent in person and they have a new rule that they only accept it in person. That problem has been worked out but I feel as though it's a house of cards and I'm always looking over my shoulder.
Here's one that sounds silly but it sends my stress level through the roof. I have biting ants that I can NOT get rid of no matter what home remedies I try. They crawl up in the chair that I spend 24/7 in (can't sleep in a bed because I can't breathe when I lie down) and crawl all over me. My apartment's pest control is virtually nonexistent so I've hired my own and they'll be here tomorrow. Got my fingers crossed.
Here's something silly: the night my bf broke up with me, a friend brought me a small stuffed animal. I used to love stuffed animals when I was a kid. I can just touch the softness of it and hold it in one hand while I sleep and it's astonishingly comforting.
All this is merely to show that you are not alone in your stress, whatever the cause. Best wishes and add me to your team if you like. ๐
It's good to know that you're doing good. I'm sorry to hear about the heart attack. But, it's good to know that you're doing better. Have a wonderful day today. ๐
Thank you Willie. How have you been since we last spoke?
