How Does Your Furry Friend Make Life With PH Better?
We adopted a dog after I was diagnosed with PH and after both my husband and I retired and I highly recommend getting a pet/pets to hang out with you and get you through tough days. The animal shelters are so crowded and would welcome adoptions (especially someone who is home most of the time!) to care for a pet/pets. Each of my three adult children also adopted one dog each and are really enjoying being pet parents in their apartments (they never let us have pets when I was living in an apartment). Here is the newer addition to my family. Her name is Cali and she's almost three years old (we adopted her when she was six months old). Time sure is flying!!!!!!
I love my furry friend he keeps me company and knows when I don't feel well he sits or lays down next to me and keeps looking at me and starts to bark so that my husband can check on me
Without doubt they do. In fact I promised them that I would outlive them in order for them to have a constant home and not be gotten rid of or re-homed. I had the horrible CTEPH surgery last month in order to keep that promise. They are worth all the pain and suffering.
I have two large dogs and they know I was away a long time in the hospital. (20 days) So now they do "rounds" to check up on me pretty constantly.
