Hello and welcome. Treatment is dependent on what kind of PH your wife has. Has your wife's physician told you this yet? For example, I've been diagnosed with Associated Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. Treatment focuses on 3 pathways, increasing nitric oxide, decreasing endothelin, and increasing prostacyclin. I am presently on Tadalafil and Ambrisentan. If all goes as planned, the next medication to mix will be Tyvaso DPI. I take Bumex, a diuretic, daily. I also use a daily inhaler, Spiriva, and a rescue inhaler, Ventolin (as needed).
