Coronary artery disease. Only had a 60% blockage in one major artery but not far along enough for a stint. Dr put me on a statin and baby asprin.

Hi Priscilla, When I had the procedure they also did a left heart catherization. I was diagnosed with exercise induced pulmonary venos hypertension. Only went 3 minutes on the bike. They also diagnosed me with coronary artery disease The procedure was not bad at all. I also have had a pacemaker for 3 years and am 100% paced.

Yes I had a rhc with exercise. It took nearly 2 hours on the table to do. I was very lightly sedated to get the heart cath in my jugular vein. They also did arterial blood gas checks throughout the test. It wasn’t to bad. From start to finish I was in the hospital for 6 hours. 2 hours to prep and wait, 2 hour procedure and 2 hour recovery. I was diagnosed with PH.
