I'm so sorry to hear of this. I use oxygen also and I'm very fatiqued and I'm almost 72. What I hate is giving up so I still say I'll do chores but when it comes down to it I don't because any action on my part takes my breath and I immediately have to stop. I do know this, we have to walk each day as in taking your dog for a walk. Go as far as you think you can because you still have to come back. I started doing this and I can walk around the neighborhood now. Walking helps keep depression away
, you may lose a pound or two, it's a mood lifter and it keeps me moving through each day and it helps lubricate the joints so you may have less pain. Don't ever give up and God bless you .
Im on it 24/7 but was recent dx and wait to start meds this Friday so hope i wouldn't need stay on o2 24/7 for long.
I am on 24/7 setting 2 on the tank and 3 when I am moving around a lot with the portable. The portable 3 is about the same as a little over setting 2 on the tank. If you buy a portable make sure you get one that will put out 1050 to 1250 ml just in case you ever need it and you won't have to worry about out breathing the machine.
I am oxygen 24/7 at 2 liters. I purchased an Inogen 5 with double batter for when I go out, which isn't often. Why am I so tired all the time? Age 73.
I use oxygen at night (for some reason my oxygen level drops while I sleep). I also use it when I am out and about. I do as many chores as I possibly can and try to get in as much walking as I possibly can. Some days it is really hard due to the fatigue. Just taking a shower can wipe me out! I try to keep a positive attitude and enjoy being with my granddaughter. Have a good day everyone and God bless.
