Opsumit

Can opsumit also be taken for secondary pulmonary hypertension? Also have copd emphysema,heart failure ? Have a lot trouble breathing.thank you

Anything needs to go thru your doctor. For just an educated guess I would say yes but I'm not an M.D. I'm only suggesting that because you have PAH. Please call your doctor, at the very least he needs to know you are having a hard time breathing.

It's a medicine for pulmonary hypertension. I was on it for a little while. My insurance has not approved another drug for me yet.

I would suggest you discuss that with your Pulmonary Hypertension Specialist at your clinic. Your Specialist would know if Opsumit would be of help with your particular diagnosis. What works for one person may not be the right fit for another. Sorry to be so vague, but your Specialist is the one to ask.
