Is anyone aware if Covid has affected your PH and made it worse?
I had Covid last July, and seemed to be worse after it.
I just tested positive last night, but virtually have no symptoms. The pharmacist said I probably have a mild case, and just rest, and take tylenol.

Hi Sandy, I started therapy in Dec. It helps but I come home exhausted each day also.
What level of exhaustion/fatigue is “normal” for PH sufferers? I was diagnosed a year ago and was put on a remodulin pump. I improved dramatically when it comes to being out of breath but I struggle with extreme fatigue and exhaustion. I am wondering if this is normal for those of us with PH or if something else is to blame? My doctor and I have chased down the usual suspects like anemia, b12, vitamin D, etc. I also have fibromyalgia but prior to PH did have fatigue but not to this level. Now, I… read more
I've been severly fatigued for months. I have to take napes too. I have trouble falling asleep too.
So....I'm confused. Can you feel good one week (totally off oxygen, able to walk further than usual, etc.) and suddenly feel really bad the next? Have any women noticed changes during her menstrual cycle?
Stephanie thanks for the hug...tom
I'm learning that even the slightest stress causes me to get exhausted. Life is full of stress without even trying. I struggle to find that middle ground in handling the stress that normal life hands me and still be able to function. I am able to keep basic cleaning done and grocery shopping with my husband's help. But some 6days that gets to be too much when unexpected stress pops up.
God bless all of us on this site. We are all learning what we can and cannot do anymore. But we HAVE to stay active. My docs told me that if I do not stay as active as humanly possible, this PAH will… read more
It’s Lori again. I forgot to say I’m 74, have PH, and arthritis. And nerve pain in my legs after knee replacements both legs.
Have you tried Lyrica for your nerve pain? It is pretty effective for nerve pain.
Are you on trazadone? It will help you sleep but sometimes it is hard to wake up makes you feel drowsy!
My problem is not falling asleep once I go to bed. Even when I am tired, which is most days. I have been going to bed at 11A. or 12P. It takes me one hour or more to fall asleep, after I lay down. I… read more
