Sleep Dr wants me to get off the medicine I've been using for about 25 years. Carbidopa//Levo . (Because of side effects) He rx'd Neupro patches. Tier 4, $95. Per month. I advise him patch is working but too much $$ . He wants referring PA to write new rx. My pulmonary has been out sick after a surgery. I will ask my PCP, but I'm curious what other meds are out there. Thank you
I'm learning that even the slightest stress causes me to get exhausted. Life is full of stress without even trying. I struggle to find that middle ground in handling the stress that normal life hands me and still be able to function. I am able to keep basic cleaning done and grocery shopping with my husband's help. But some 6days that gets to be too much when unexpected stress pops up.
I've been blessed with some improvements in my health but still find myself fatigued quite often especially at times when I want to be more active. I know the COPD and accompanying PH won't go away. I know they will probably get worse. I'm slower than I was, more SOB than I was, but I'm still trying to function without slowing my family and friends down. It is at those times when I feel "left behing" and isolated. Thoughts please. Peace and better breathing everyone!
I have chest pain, mostly on the left side, and shortness of breath with slight movement. Sometimes it goes away in a few minutes but it usually stays several hours. Sometimes I wake up with it. Does anyone else experience this? If so, how do you manage it?
Taking a shower cause me to get SOB often.
I was on two different types of blood thinner, warfarin for about 4 days, but because of where I live, the monitoring was a problem,so the doctor switched me to xarelto,I was diagnosed with Afib, and needed to keep my blood at a certain level..both blood thinner drugs made me so sick and exhausted,I couldn't even get out of bed..I stopped taking xarelto and put myself on low dose aspirin..today I have a bit of energy to finish filling out My PH..
