I have never tried that medication. If in the beginning I did I don't recall as at first I was taking so much medication, you would think I was doing drugs. Lol I was always looking sleepy.

Has anyone with PAH tried Yutrepia, and did they experience bad side effects — particularly a significant drop in blood pressure after only 2 days?

A BP of 96/43 is quite low and worth taking seriously. Reaching out to your doctor as soon as possible is strongly recommended, especially since this happened so quickly after starting the medication. Yutrepia is an inhaled form of treprostinil, a prostacyclin analog. Like many PAH medications, it works by widening blood vessels to reduce pressure in the lungs — which can sometimes cause blood pressure to drop too low.
Common side effects of this type of medication can include:
- Hypotension (low blood pressure)
- Headaches
- Nausea or vomiting
- Chest or joint pain
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
While some side effects can ease over time, a BP drop that significant in just 2 days is something your care team needs to know about right away. They may adjust your dose, switch medications, or suggest a different approach.
