For me, my husband and I have a shared iPhone calendar standing appointment for every other day that also has an alert on it. It pops up 5 minutes before we’re supposed to start the pump change. It’s been so helpful. This way we have both of us being alerted.
What happens when a Remodulin pump cassette change is delayed by a few hours?
This is a situation where reaching out to your care team right away is really important — don't wait. A lapse in Remodulin delivery can cause a rebound effect, and your team needs to know so they can assess how you're feeling and guide next Show Full Answer
@A myPHteam Member Hey there, so I myself have had close calls when it comes to changing out my husbands IV remodulin cassettes. What helps me, is I have a whiteboard on my wall that has the calender template and every month I change out the dates and write on the bottom of the date I changed the cassette as Cassette change and the time. Then I go 2 days and write cassette change again and I do that every 2 days for the whole month and then it reminds me when I need to change out the cassette. Each day when I change it out, I write the time I changed it, so I know around what time to change it out that day. Everyone has their own system but that works for me. I hope it maybe works for you too! God bless
