Members rallied around someone experiencing a pseudoaneurysm in their wrist following a Watchman procedure, with one member sharing a similar experience from a right heart catheterization that resolved in 2-3 weeks with compression treatment. Several members offered prayers, encouragement, and solidarity around being medical zebras (patients with rare or unusual complications), which sparked a playful conversation about zebra-themed awareness merchandise including tote bags and t-shirts. A recurring theme was finding humor and community in being the rare cases that confuse doctors, while offering genuine hope that compression therapy would resolve the issue without surgery.

So after much fun researching medical zebra related products, I chose to get this tote which I can use to carry all my medical notes in when I go to various doctors.

I tell all my doctors to be warned that I always fall into the 0.01% for patient reactions and illnesses. And that I farm zebras, not horses.
