Members responded with deep empathy to someone struggling with paralyzing fear and lack of energy from their pulmonary hypertension diagnosis, offering both spiritual and practical strategies for moving forward. Several members shared that faith and prayer have been their greatest source of strength, while others emphasized the importance of medication, pulmonary rehab, and accepting that some days simply require rest without guilt. A recurring theme was transforming fear into action through anger directed at the disease, joining supportive activities like chair yoga, and remembering to take life one day at a time without letting PH define who you are.

I joined a chair yoga group 8 weeks ago. I really think it has helped my overall stamina and my ability to calm myself. 8 weeks in.

Bill: When I had my Cancer I was stricken initially with fear. I read a self help book that showed me how fear depletes you but anger energizes you. I eventually trained myself to convert my fear into anger directed towards the cancer. And that’s what I do to this day.

I am angry with my PH so I weaponize myself with great doctors and great medications and I go into battle.

@A myPHteam Member when I first got diagnosed I had several life threatening complications. I won't lie. Bill I just got tired and depressed. I just wanted to die. I got to a point where, I was tired of being in the hospital. The hospital became my new norm. Tired of test, needles, and the unknown.

Keep your head up Bill, we can't get rid of this. But we can manage it with people who understand what we are going thru. Encouragement from others but most importantly, Psalms 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

Bill you are a child of God. He will keep you covered under the blood. Don't be so hard on yourself. One day at a time is all we can do. Much love to you my brother in Christ. God Bless you and may he continue to keep you.

It's not an easy thing when you feel there are more bad days than good, as far as having energy to do things. As Cindy said, it depends on prayer. That's the only way some of us are still standing. Blessings to you, Bill.
