Where do you live & have you lived there your whole life? If you havent lived there your whole life (since birth) then what's your place if birth?
There have been numerous threads here where we discussed the effects of altitude on all 5 groups of PH. I have often commented on how fortunate I am to live in the Phoenix area whose low altitude is so PH friendly. I am originally from NYC but also have lived in Connecticut and westchester county, NY. Both of those areas were also fairly low altitudes. I am Group 2, Left Heart Disease.

Yes, some conditions are because you live in a certain area, however I haven't seen anything that says this is. Just the population of our ph family here are from all over the world, having said that, I haven't met many from Southern hemisphere.
