Can Wegovy cause Tachycardia?

I am currently on 1mg but scheduled to move up to 1.7mg. A little research showed me that in fact some people have blamed rapid heart rates on Wegovy and had to stay on mid-range doses rather than continue to titrate up.

I've already put in portal messages for both my pcp and my cardiologist. I only had 2 Afib events today but spent the whole day with my heart racing between 106 and 120. The alerts on my watch never stop.

so my cardiologist is taking my Wegovy dosage back down to .5mg. Sigh. It will take me longer to lose the weight and it won't be as beneficial to my heart, but I'll take what I can get.
