I have been on Jardiance for 2 years now. I am PH, Group 2 due to Left Heart Failure. In Group 2, you manage the PH by managing the heart failure. Jardiance treats the heart failure...so it is technically not a PH medication. But because it helps my heart failure, it is helping my PH.

It had been discovered that a few medications initially developed to treat Diabetes, also help heart failure. I am now also on Wegovy, which is the same as Ozempic but for non-Diabetics.

That’s tough that you are also in right heart failure. It’s tricky to understand how some PH is caused BY heart failure and for others the PH (or PAH) has caused the failure. What’s first? The chicken or the egg?

I was diagnosed in the beginning of July with PH and have right ventricular heart failure. I have been on Jardiance since my dx as well.
