Hi Darsy, sorry about the delay, the waiting is the hardest, you just want an answer so they can treat it. I had a right and left heart cath together at the same time, there was no pain and they do talk with you. Hang in there, those 3 weeks will go by quickly and then you can get your answers. Stay strong, HE is with you!! We are here for support!! Hugs and prayers....❤️🙏
Ask what your PAH pressure is, what group PH you are in. The procedure is easy and painless, you will be fine! Jesus loves you and will be right there with you!
@A myPHteam Member saw that your RHC is pushed out 3 weeks. How frustrating! You asked if they start you on medications if you have mild PH. It really depends on what the underlying cause is. I have PAH caused by an autoimmune disease. My initial pulmonary pressure was 36 and I was quite symptomatic. The pulmonologist that manages me is very proactive and feels quite strongly that there is no benefit in delaying treatment. If you have another form of PH your doctors will treat the underlying cause. I know the wait is nerve-racking, but 3 weeks will pass quickly.

Exactly everything happens for a reason. I know hiw you feel. Unfortunately I have to have this procedure yearly. It's expected to be scared, it's a procedure. If it helps to know, you really don't feel any pain. The medication relaxes you and talk to you while doing it. I will continue to check in on you and pray that all turns out well.
