I took Tyvaso dpi and Adempas. At full dose for 1.5 years I actually got much worse. I stopped Tyvaso due to side effects. Winrevair plus Adempas has been a miracle. My levels are just above normal after 6 months.

It’s different for each person. And really only Group 1 patients have a host of dedicated medications that apply to them.

Wow. Sounds like you have been through the ringer with testing. I pray you treatment plan gets clarity and works well. I was asking about how long it took to get meds for a few reasons. Obviously I want some relief but I know it can take a while to get insurance approvals and evaluated. Just wondering what that process looks like.

As the AI generated response indicated, the actual diagnostic process for the 5 different groups of PH, can be quite a journey unto itself. These are the tests I went through JUST to get, and then confirm my diagnosis. I was initially mis-classified into the wrong group, so I had my medications start and stop and start again at various points along my diagnostic period. And it still gets tweaked.
