Members overwhelmingly recommended pulmonary rehab in response to questions about its effectiveness, with many describing significant improvements in breathing technique, strength, flexibility, reduced shortness of breath, and increased walking endurance after completing programs ranging from 18 to 36 sessions. Several members shared practical details about what to expect, including mild calisthenics, deep stretching, breathing exercises, and access to specialized equipment like NuStep machines and recumbent bikes, with some noting the added benefit of meeting others facing similar challenges. A recurring theme was that even small progress matters, with members encouraging each other to keep going despite setbacks and acknowledging that consistency and follow-through after rehab are key to maintaining gains.

I've been doin pulmonary rehab for about 3 weeks now and I can feel the difference in my flexibility already. I highly recommend it if you can get it. Even if you're only able to do a little bit, some's better then none.

I just finished 36 weeks of rehab. I recommend it. It has given me strength and you learn how to breath correctly. You also meet other with similar illness. I have gained friends and will request I attend again if I have any hospitalizations.
