Members sharing experiences with low blood pressure related to pulmonary hypertension treatments connected deeply over the challenges of managing blood pressure fluctuations while on medications like sub-q and Adempas. Several members described practical approaches their doctors have taken, including starting medications to raise blood pressure, monitoring for dizziness or faintness rather than treating numbers alone, and adjusting medication timing or skipping doses when blood pressure drops too low. A recurring theme was the complex balance of managing PH treatments that can lower blood pressure while learning to advocate for yourself, with members offering mutual support and sharing detailed strategies for handling medication side effects and site changes.

I have low BP, the cardiologist that is handling my PH is not to concern as long as I do not experience dizziness or faintness, which I have not.

It's tough with children. I have 2 toddlers.
There are a few tricks I learned being on sub-q, which allowed my site to stay up to 8 weeks or more and ensured the sticky part stays on the skin, as constant changes can make the adhesive lose its grip. Also, adding coverage to the area of the body where you place it can help avoid constant changes and help assure the medicine can stay put.
