Members shared their preferences for fitness trackers that sync with phones, with many emphasizing the importance of features like pulse monitoring, cardiac rhythm detection, and oxygen saturation levels, particularly for those managing pulmonary hypertension. Several members discussed specific brands, including Apple Watch (noting to buy older models to retain the blood oxygen feature), Garmin, Samsung Galaxy Watch, and Fitbit, though many expressed frustration with Fitbit since Google's takeover due to inconsistent oxygen readings and constant app changes. A recurring theme was concern over data privacy and Google's intrusive practices, with members recommending browsers like Firefox, Safari, and DuckDuckGo as alternatives to Chrome.

One that links to phone. I have galaxy phone, so I preferred galaxy watch when I had one.

I have a fitbit right now but since it was taken over by Google it goes through so many changes, sometimes works pretty good, other times nothing comes up. I really need the oxygen levels, which it will give at night after sleeping for 3 hours but not at other times. Google says they are upgrading the fitbit apps but it is taking some time.

I have a watch l linked to my phone. One with a health tracker-- blood pressure oxygen and step counter. They all work similar. Whatever your preference or phone accepts. None are as good as they used to be since they removed the heart monitor. My old Samsung actually saw my heart palpitations. The new phones don't. You have to buy the expensive cards now. Sad.

I don't know to whom your question is addressed, but if it is me, I use Firefox and Safari as my browsers. I definitely refuse to use Chrome.

Exactly.

You have zero control of where your information or browsing history is ending up with Google.
