Members connected over their love of music in a lighthearted conversation about personal listening preferences, with strong representation for classic rock from the 70s and 80s, country music, and gospel or Christian music that lifts spirits. Several members shared how music has been a source of comfort and healing, including one member who described rediscovering music after dissociating due to medical trauma and another who emphasized how rock and blues have helped them through tough times. A recurring theme was appreciation for timeless favorites, with humor about aging into the oldies category and warm recommendations for artists like Cap Carter, Jelly Roll, and Beth Hart.

I always listen to Christian music unless I am with my husband he likes rock. Christian music especially praise and worship lifts my spirit up.

OMGoodness, I have something so funny to share. So when listening to oldies radio station, it was mostly music from 60's & some 70's. I new in the back of my mind that with each passing year I was getting older. I truly didn't feel old until I heard the oldies radio station started playing the 80's music. More 80's than 60's. That was the day that I had to face the fact that I was old. funny ha ha lol
