My last pft was pretty close to normal. I currently have “mild” PH

Asking again as I'm trying to understand how realistic it is to have PAH with normal PFT results. While the literature says it's possible early in the PAH diagnosis, what does reality say?

Yes, it is possible to have normal pulmonary function test (PFT) results despite having pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Yes, it is possible to have normal pulmonary function test (PFT) results despite having pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). PFTs measure how much air the lungs can hold and the airflow in and out of the lungs, but they may not always detect PAH. PAH diagnosis often requires more specific tests like right heart catheterization, echocardiograms, and other heart and lung imaging tests to evaluate blood flow and detect issues with the right side of the heart.
