A rheumatologist will be able to tell you, if you have RA.
I've had rheumatoid arthritis since 1983. Little did I know that having an "auto-immune disease" can be a symptom of "bigger things to come?" PH? Since I was hospitalized 2 years ago and had extreme shortness of breath, and they consulted a pulmonologist. He then mentioned pulmonary hypertension? I never heard of it before? Well, I had problems from the surgery and they focused on getting me thru that first. I had pneumonia in February and they sent that pulmonologist in to see me again. That started the ball rolling and I had tests and a right heart cath last month. Yesterday I went to my cardiologist and he confirmed what I knew all along...pulmonary hypertension. I had a Lot of symptoms too.
