Why does my oxygen drop when I'm sleeping? Apparently, it has something to do with my shallow breathing and hypertension

In there is a link between PH and sleep apnea I am sure there is more to this than we know.

I am not sure of the mechanics why our oxygen drops but I guess it’s normal. Mine goes down to as low as 42% no that’s not a typo. It freaks the nurse out when this happens.
