I alternate, once I realize I've been mouth breathing. Sometimes, I feel like I have to take a deep breath through my mouth before I can breathe through my nose. I get it. Try Lamaze breathing ... in through the nose, out through the mouth.
Mouth breathing is not so good when you are on oxygen, however I think we all forget som times.
I catch myself pursed lip breathing when I'm doing activities a lot of the time. I know I mouth breath at night. Ambrisentan stops my nose up horribly. I wake up each morning with a very dry mouth. My husband said I've been snoring more. I'm wondering if I should have another sleep study done. I just recently had to start using oxygen at night.
Been a mouth breather all my life. Have a deviated septum. Even with CPAP mouth is open, that is why I need full face mask.
I think I am doing some mouth breathing at night, when I am o2. I have awakened 2xs breathing fast, and once really winded.
