Sugarspice : did surgery help? I have same following COVID shot and now planning for surgery

Yes, I has pulmonary embolism. Blood clots all over my lungs. I had to have open heart surgery in order to remove them. Otherwise, I only had a few months to live.

I developed 2 pulmonary embolisms at least a year before my health really started declining and only then did my first cardiologist perform a bilateral cardiac cath and discovered I have pulmonary hypertension. My lungs are filled with embolisms. I went to Mayo Clinic for appropriate treatment as my condition was too complicated for my local cardiologist. I feel that a year of my life was wasted because my doctor didn't recognize the symptoms.
