I did my 6 min walk test yesterday. In April my distance was 428 meters, yesterday it was only 368 meters. I've been on 2L oxygen since November. Has anyone else experienced a drastic change like this? Did your doctor change anything?

I was doing at least 420 meters, this last time it was 344, they changed one of my medications. I won't know until November, if it helped.

Lori, you don't say what medications you're on, but you may need some adjustments or changes.

Hello Lori, sorry to hear about your decline in walked distance for the 6 minute walk. Pretty much indicating progression in the disease, marked by decreased exercise capacity. This happened to me, I have had three 6 minute walks since June of 2022, showing a decline in meters walked. The pulmonologist made changes to two of my specialty medications, and reassessed my oxygen requirements. But my PAH is severe, at functional class 3. You may not need as many changes as I have had to have. My meters walked we're in the low 200s as of last February. Good luck to you, and be well.
