Sheboygan County Wisconsin

Since I have a problem breathing in cold weather. What is going to happen to me in Wisconsin when it gets 80 or 90 degrees and humid. Is warm temperatures better or worse for breathing .

I live in Massachusetts and I find that the cold bothers my breathing. I have problems with high moisture. I can estimate how my breathing will be by checking the Dew Point. Today the Dew Point is “7” and my breathing is good. On last Wednesday, the Dew Point was “46” and my breathing was poor. I don’t know if this is medically correct but it works for me.

Honestly, I find both extremes challenging. I plan to get out early in the morning while it is cooler to garden and work in the yard before going to water fitness classes late morning. Because of Sjogren's, my body thermostat is a bit wacky anyway. I sweat very little, making it difficult for me to easily cool down. On the bright side, when it's hot and balmy my inflammatory arthritis doesn't act up much. So much of life these days is about adjusting and adapting!

My is harder to catch my breath in the humidity. A fan or AC is needed.
