I am 57 and can retire in November of this year. Does anyone know of any insurance companies or assistance programs that help with the PAH prescriptions until I am old enough for Medicare? My current insurance company has denied just about everything unless we fight for it. I was going to keep working just for my insurance coverage, but now it hardly seems worth it. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Thank you in advance.

Excellent suggestion, Linda. Many drug companies have financial assistance programs. I would also contact the PH Association. They have people that can help with resources.

@A myPHteam Member I know you live in Denison, as do I. Just curious. Who is your pulmonologist? I am followed by Dr. Sanober Kable at TMC. I feel blessed to have been referred to her.

I got my insurance summary yesterday.. my Uptravi for 28 days, the 200. Was $34,564.76. My insurance paid all but $ 2,000.00 then my grant paid that. I look for the insurance company to deny it soon. This is absolutely outrageous to cost this much. I will be on the highest dose starting next week. This is my second med, still have a third one to start at some point.

I don't have insurance and I get my Uptravi and Opsumit free thru Johnson and Johnson Patient Assistance program. Their website is https://jjpaf.org/pah/index.html
