Members enthusiastically supported the idea of sharing low-sodium recipes within the community, with the consensus being to simply post recipes directly in the thread rather than creating a separate platform or profile. Several members offered practical strategies for adding flavor without salt, including using curries and specialty spices from spice shops, homemade dry rubs applied ahead of cooking, salt-free herb mixes from stores like Penzeys, and different vinegars to enhance taste. A recurring theme was the collective desire to learn creative ways to make food flavorful while managing sodium intake, with members already beginning to share their own dishes like baked fish seasoned with garlic and pepper.

Well, until we have a different place, I’m using this thread. A friend gave me some salt-free herb mixes from Penney’s. They are a bit pricey (wonderful gift), and I’ve only tried them once in a pot roast, but they were pretty tasty!
