I know that hypertension and pulmonary hypertension are 2 totally different things, but do most or any of you have high blood pressure because of the PH??? Or is your blood pressure low??? Without medications for blood pressure?? I guess is what I'm asking is, does your blood pressure usually become high or higher with having Pulmonary hypertension?
Cottage cheese, strawberries & cool whip with 2 bags of sweetener. Taste like a desert and last long in your belly😀
As far as the blood pressure goes, with PH only your blood vessels from the lungs to the heart have high bp, not the whole body.
Interesting question. I think they are supposed to be two separate conditions. But it is odd to think that only some blood vessels would be involved and not all of them. So far my BP is in the normal range even though I have PAH.
Hi me again. I just had an ah-ha moment. It makes more sense to me now (after reading more)...PH is a lung "disease" as opposed to "heart" disease (aka systolic high blood pressure). My heart and lungs go out to each and every person who lives with this and to the people we love. Enjoy the day 😍
I think we need to create a lung jewelry line. There are heart charms everywhere. It's time for the lungs to get some respect. I know there are artistic people amongst this elite group! Bueler? Bueler...
I have noticed that my BP has become more unstable since I've PH. I've always had very low BP. Consistently 116/68 or there about. Now it shoots up to 130/78 and hangs out there for a day or two and then it goes back to my normal for a while. I asked my Dr. about it and she said it was related to the PH.
