I Would Like To Know If Anybody Who Has PAH Or Even PH Have Issues Or Pain Or A Hunch At The Base Of The Neck

I am curious how many people have issues like dowagers disease or a hunch right at the base of the neck on the spine , and also those people who may not have pain but has a noticeable lump at the base of the spine , or a hunch in thier neck? I have been doing a bunch of research on PAH and i was wondering if it could have some correlation to the disease or not

Well, I've had neck trouble for years and yes, I do have a little bit of a hunch. My head falls forward, but the doctors have told me it's osteoporosis. I also have scoliosis, and a host of other back problems like spondylosis, disk problems, etc. About 20 years ago, I had the injections in my back and they helped. But the main problem I had was being very obese. I had rolls of fat around my neck which pitched my head forward. When I lost the weight, I thought that problem would be solved, but no, my neck still hangs forward. I went to PT and they told me I had weak muscles. When my neck and shoulder muscles cracked and popped, they said it was definitely weak muscles. So I began work on that. I still have weak muscles, evidently, because my head still falls forward. So I decided several years ago to heck with it. It was just one more thing in a growing list of problems that I decided I wasn't going to worry about. I have PH. I hope this helps your research some. And thanks. It takes someone doing some mental shoe work sometimes to help forward the progress about diseases along. Sometimes a whole new hypothesis is needed.

I have or had a huge hole in the base of my neck, now healed, but left a scar.

It hurts to hold my head up and doesn't when I let it hunch forward. The only exercise I can truly say I can keep up with is stretching my neck and rotating my shoulders.
